A very large white round object with a luminous tail was reported over the Pittsburgh area at about 10 pm. The object moved from south to north at a very high rate of speed and moved into some clouds.
The clouds lit up, but the object was not seen exiting the cloud formation.

A report was received that during the early evening a large unusual object was observed in the sky over the Latrobe area. A witness was driving in the vicinity of the Walmart Plaza when she noticed some cars pulled over and a number of people looking towards the sky. The driver viewed an object which appeared to be more round than oblong. There were numerous lights seen around the bottom of the object that was spinning in the sky. The witness moved to another vantage point, and about a minute later was no longer able to see the object.

During the evening, several people watched two tear dropped shaped objects with an orange luminous bottom moving around in the sky. The objects moved back and forth in the sky, and moved up and down and crisscrossed at times. The objects were silent while under observation.

Researcher Jim Brown received a report that soon after dark, what was described as a “stationary fireball”
was observed. The witness said that both a meteor and its tail appeared to be stationary in the sky for several seconds.

I received a report that a large green object was observed during the early evening from the New Castle area. The witness described seeing a large green disc shaped object moving very fast in the sky. The witness felt that what he saw was not a meteor due to its shape.

While driving during the early evening, two people observed a series of odd orange lights in the sky. They stopped their vehicle and got out for a better view. Moving across the sky from Uniontown towards Connellsville, were two rows of orange balls, totaling about 15-20 in number.
